For about 40 years, Korea has been one of the first Asian countries that adopted competition law, and built a considerable track record as one of the most active competition authorities in the world. In this public lecture, Dr. Sungjin Kang will briefly summarize the history and main features of Korean competition law and competition authority, and then present the enforcement priorities of the Korea Fair Trade Commission for 2023.
